Mixed Feelings of sadness and Joy

Last week, suddenly, was our last study class with Swami Tanmaya. A generous wisdom teacher from Kerala.

After nearly five years of intense learning, sharing and researching into the works of Sree Narayana Guru on Advaita Vedanta, having taken an unexpected journey through a great mind of Nataraja Guru Shankaracharya, Kalidasa, Tiruvalluvar and many more, I have arrived at an unnamed destination.

We came to know western philosophers like the brilliant Bergson, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Voltaire, Kant and Spinoza, Euripides, Michel Foucault and many more. Now, with mixed emotions, I find myself at the end of a beautiful journey.

There was no certificate to attain, no degree, money or recognition, purely wanting to share an extraordinary experience. It was one of the most rewarding and challenging endeavours I have been involved with, it changed my life. We read many books over the years: The Word of the Guru, Dialectics and Experiencing One World are a few.

I cannot express my disappointment when suddenly Swami announced that this would be our last class. Blessings and kind wishes for him on his new adventures with new people and new classes.

We are starting production on a new feature, a passionate story about , where is happiness? We are searching for collaborators! Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
